BIBLE STUDY AT HOLY CROSS

STARTS SUNDAY, NOV. 6

 

Jeff Cavins Video Bible Study “The Great Adventure: A Journey Through the Bible” is coming to Holy Cross on the 1st & 3rd Sundays of the month beginning Sunday, Nov. 6 from 6:30 to 8:30 PM  The program is offered in a two-year time frame November to May.  Cost for course materials is $30 and materials will be delivered to you at the first class.  Call the church office to register - 612-789-7238.  For more information about The Great Adventure go to www.thebibletimeline.com. 

 

The 2nd year for The Adventures of Matthew Bible Study also begins on Sunday, Nov. 6, 6:30 PM in the Pioneer Room.  Sessions scheduled for 1st & 3rd Sundays.

 

“Revelation: The Kingdom Yet to Come” - Jeff Cavins explores Revelation to demonstrate how the Kingdom established by Christ in His Church is intimately connected with the Kingdom of Heaven.  Learn what all the mysterious figures and images of Revelation represent, as well as what will happen during the Second Coming of Christ, what has already happened, and what is happening now in salvation history.  This one year, 10-session Bible Study will begin Sunday, Nov. 6, 6:30 PM in the parish library.  Cost for course materials is $30.  To register call 612-789-7238.

 

“OLD FASHIONED CHRISTMAS” is the theme of this year’s Annual Mission Benefit sponsored by the Holy Cross English Altar and Rosary Guild to be held on Saturday, November 5th.  This year along with a Roast Pork and Pierogi Lunch, 125 Years of Fashion will be featured.  Tickets are $20 and available after Mass this weekend Oct. 22 & 23 and Oct. 29 & 30 or by phone at 612-789-7657, 763-572-1713 or 612-789-7238 weekdays.

PANCAKE BREAKFAST - The East Minneapolis Exchange Club is sponsoring the Annual Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, Nov. 6th from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Holy Cross Kolbe Center.  Pancakes (all you can eat), sausage, juice, coffee or milk.  Adults $6.00, Children under `12 $4.00.  Proceeds donated to various charities.
