ALL SAINTS PARTY - Mark your calendar to attend the Holy Cross “All Saints Party” on Saturday, Oct. 31 from 5:30-8:30 PM in Kolbe Hall.  Event includes: children’s “Parade of Saints”, faith formation, potluck dinner, games, crafts and much more.  Each family is asked to bring one large potluck item and one bag of candy (no hard candy).  Back by popular demand - we are asking each child to bring a non-perishable food item to be given to the needy.

WIGILIA AT JAX WITH POLANIE CLUB - The Polanie Club of Minneapolis and St. Paul wishes to share Poland’s most beloved holiday celebration by hosting a traditional Christmas Eve dinner, Polish Wigilia on Sunday, December 6, 2009, 6:00 PM at Jax Café, 1928 University Ave. N.E.  The cost for this non-profit event is $35 per person including tax and gratuity. HOLY CROSS ROSARY GUILD STYLE SHOW & MISSION BENEFIT The Style Show/Mission Benefit will be  Saturday, Nov. 7 in Kolbe Hall.  Dress Barn Fashions and Pork Roast Lunch.  Tickets are $20.00 and available next weekend Oct. 24/25 and Oct. 31 and Nov. 1 after 4:30, 8:00 and 10:00 Masses at the doors of the Church or by calling Janice (weekdays) at 612-789-7238.

POLISH SOUP FESTIVAL - 20th Annual Polish Soup Festival is Sunday, October 25 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM in Kolbe Center.  Enjoy a variety of delicious soups.  Adults $12.00 and children under 5 $6.00.  Sponsored by PACIM - Polish American Cultural Institute of Minnesota.

THANK YOU - The Polish Rosary Society would like to thank everyone for the support of their Bake Sale and Raffle.  Raffles winners were: Nativity Frame - Chester Perkerwicz, Christmas Tree and Garland Set - Phyllis Lipa.

OPEN HOUSE - Totino-Grace High School will be holding an Open House for eighth graders (and any other prospective students) and their parents on Monday, October 19.  Doors open at 6:30 PM with the presentation beginning at 7:00 PM.  Come and find out what makes Totino-Grace such a special place.  If you have questions please call T.J. ANNUAL PASTA DINNER - The Totino-Grace High School Music Department parents will hold their first annual Pasta Dinner on Friday, October 23 and Saturday, October 24 from 4:00-6:30 PM at Totino-Grace High School located at 1350 Gardena Avenue N.E., Fridley.  The dinner features entertainment by the Totino-Grace Music Department students plus a silent auction, bake sale, craft sale and raffle.  Tickets are $7.00 for adults 12 and over, $5.00 for children 6-11 and free for children 5 and under.  Tickets may be purchased at the door.

SPECIAL SALE - All Saints Church Rosary Guild is having a Special Sale with proceeds going to N.E. Charities.  A great variety of new and used items including furniture.   October 23 & 24, Friday and Saturday, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM both days at the Parish Center located at 435-5th St. N.E.

ALUMINUM CANS - Our thanks to all who bring aluminum cans to church.  The Tuesday Toilers recently  redeemed our cans and scrap metal and the parish received $751.00.  Thank you to the Tuesday Toilers for all their work.  Please keep bringing your cans!

RAISED TO SAINTHOOD - On Tuesday, Oct. 11th the Foundress of the Little Sisters, Saint Jeanne Jugan was canonized by Pope Benedict XVI at St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome.  As a patroness of the elderly, she is a Saint for our times.  You are invited to attend the Mass  of Thanksgiving in honor of the canonization of St. Jeanne celebrated by Archbishop John Nienstedt at the Cathedral of St. Paul on Sunday, Nov. 1st at 2:00 PM.  Reception to follow at St. Paul Hotel.  Bus shuttle provided.

MASS FOR MILITARY VETERANS - All Military Veterans are invited to a Mass for Veterans - to remember, to thank, to bless and to honor those who have served and are serving our country.  The Mass, celebrated by Bishop Lee Piché, will be on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at 10:00 AM at the Basilica of St. Mary.  Family and friends are welcome.
