EUCHARISTIC ADORATION

 

JESUS in the Blessed Sacrament is worthy of the unceasing Adoration of humanity for all that HE has done for our salvation.

 

The Eucharist is our Risen Lord, where all the power of HIS resurrection flows out to all who come into HIS Eucharistic Presence.  JESUS is alive today in the Adoration Chapel - living, loving, and calling us to Himself.  Visit Jesus!

ALL SAINTS PARTY - Mark your calendar now to attend the Holy Cross All Saints Party on Saturday, Nov. 1st from 5:30 to 8:30 PM in Kolbe Hall.  Please sign up for this free event at all entrances to the church.  Events include: children’s “Parade of Saints”, faith formation, potluck dinner, games, crafts and much more.  Each family is asked to bring one large potluck item, one bag of candy (no hard candy) and each child is asked to bring one non-perishable food item that will be used to fill food baskets for the needy.

ATTENTION STUDENTS - Are you in need of volunteer hours?  The Holy Cross All Saints Party is on Saturday, November 1.  If you are interested in earning some hours call Carrie at 612-789-5714.

PANCAKE BREAKFAST with sausage, juice, milk/coffee will be served on Sunday, October 26 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St. Clement Catholic Church, 911-24th Ave. N.E.  Cost $5.00 for adults, $3.00 for children.  Proceeds benefit Pope John Paul II Catholic School.

POLISH SOUP FESTIVAL - 19th Annual Polish Soup Festival is Sunday, October 26 from 5:00-7:00 PM in Kolbe Center.  Enjoy a variety of delicious soups.  Adults $10.00 and children under 12 $5.00.  Sponsored by PACIM.

SPAGHETTI DINNER - Our Lady of Victory Church, 5155 Emerson Avenue North invites you to a Spaghetti Dinner on Saturday, October 25th from 6:00-8:00 PM in Father Musch Hall.  Adults $10.00; Children (4-12) $4.00; Children (under 4) free.  Tickets only sold at the door.

HOLY CROSS ROSARY GUILD STYLE SHOW & MISSION BENEFIT - The Style Show/Mission Benefit will be Saturday, Nov. 8 in Kolbe Hall.  Dress Barn Fashions and Pork Roast Lunch.  Tickets are $20.00 and available next weekend Oct. 25/26 and Nov. 1/2 after the 4:30, 8:00 & 10:00 Masses at the doors of the Church or by calling Janice (weekdays) at 612-789-7238.

FALL BAKE SALE AND RAFFLE - The All Saints Rosary Guild is sponsoring their Annual Fall Bake Sale and Raffle on Saturday, Oct. 25 after 5:00 PM Mass and Sunday, Oct. 26 after 9:00 AM Mass.  Home-made specialties will be offered in the Parish Center, 435-5th St. N.E.  Polish Sausage and hot dogs also available.

SATURDAY BREAKFAST FOR MEN The Church of St. Helena (3204 East 43rd St.) will sponsor “Saturday Breakfast for Men” on the fourth Saturday of the month beginning Oct. 25.  Men are invited to Mass at 8:00 AM followed by hearty breakfast and then a talk from 8:45 to 9:30 AM by Arthur Hippler, PhD who will talk on “Real Men Think, Act, and Pray.”  Tickets are $20 for the entire series or $5 per morning.  612-729-7321.
