Severson - III Text Box: MESSAGE FROM FATHER JENSON In our Gospel Jesus calls us to live our commitment to him and thus make the wedding garment for ourselves that he was looking for on the guest who was removed from the wedding banquet. Our good deeds become our wedding garment for the marriage feast of heaven when we do them with faith and a desire to please God, not to earn the esteem of other people. Our motor coach tour to Our Lady’s shrine near LaCrosse was a wonderful experience. The Lord parted the heavy rains that dogged us most of the way down there and it was dry at the shrine. It did start raining as we boarded the coach to leave, however, and most of the way back. The Lord gave us just what we needed to experience Our Lady’s shrine, and not a minute extra. It was such a wonderful place to experience that I think we may try to do this again sometime. After being introduced last weekend at Holy Cross, our new deacon, John Belian, will be introduced at coffee and rolls at St. Anthony this weekend. Come and meet our new deacon and give him a warm St. Anthony style welcome. He will be at St. Hedwig’s in two weeks to introduce himself and be at coffee and rolls. It takes a bit to meet everyone in our tri-parish cluster, but it gets done. Father Glen Jenson

LIVING ROSARY - The English Altar & Rosary Guild invites you to join them in Church for a Living Rosary on Monday, Oct. 13 at 7:00 PM.  All are invited to participate.

REMINDER TO ALL ENGLISH ALTAR AND ROSARY GUILD MEMBERS - Please bring your unwrapped raffle prize or prizes for the style show and luncheon to the October 13 meeting.  Rose 107 will provide refreshments this month.
