Saturday, October 16 - The Annual Meeting of the Archdiocesan Holy Name Societies at St. Lawrence Church, 1203 - 5th Street S.E., 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Included in the day: Mass, Rosary, Spiritual Reflections. Bishop Richard Pates will be the guest. All men are invited. You do not have to be a Holy Name member to attend.  THANK YOU - Pope John Paul II Catholic School is thankful to the following for their generous support of our school program through donations to our annual Marathon for Nonpublic Education:

Northeast Lions Club $1,000.00,
Cub Foods in Fridley donated $1.00/pack of hot dogs to feed the hungry hikers,
Old Dutch gave a discount on potato chips,
St. Clement's and Holy Cross provided containers to use for coffee and cocoa to keep the hikers warm.

Catholic education is a labor of love and supported by many in our community. God bless you!
