THE FALL FESTIVAL WRAP UP MEETING will be Tuesday, October 10 at 6:30 p.m. in the Pioneer Room.  Come to the meeting for a quick overview of the past Festival and share good ideas for next year.

“HAPPENINGS” BOOKS - The Educational Task Force is selling “Happenings” books for $30 each.  The books contain many discounts on gas, car washes, entertainment, restaurants, etc.  Contact Dennis at 612-788-4209 or the Parish Office weekdays to order a book. 

COFFEE AND DONUT SUNDAY will be Sunday, October 15th after all morning Masses.  We are in need of people to help host the Coffee and Donut Sunday in October.  We provide all the supplies - you serve..  If you can help, call the Parish Office weekdays at 612-789-7238.

SEVENTEENTH ANNUAL GERMAN DAY - Church of St. Boniface, 629 Second St. N.E. TODAY, October 8   with Polka Mass at 10:00 AM with Dick Macko Orchestra.  Authentic German Dinner following from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.  Adults $10, children (12 & under) $4. 

CHRISTMAS WREATHS & POINSETTIAS FOR SALE - The Holy Cross Educational Task Force will sell Christmas Wreaths and Poinsettias again this year.  You may order by calling Cindee Hanzely at 612-789-5171 or by using the order form that will be in a later bulletin.  Wreaths are $12.50 for the Classic Wreath and $15.00 for the Victorian Wreath.  Poinsettias will be $10.00 each and your choice of Red, Pink or White.

THE CATHEDRAL YOUNG ADULTS presents Mass Confusion - making sense of the Catholic Mass.  Beginning October 18, Father Joseph Johnson will lead a four part series explaining the actions, traditions and history of the Roman Catholic Mass.

ST. JOHN’S ANNUAL FESTIVAL “A Taste of Northeast” on Sunday, October 15 from 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 2200 Third Street N.E., Minneapolis.  Ethnic foods (eat in/take out), Turkey Raffle, bingo, bake sale, handcrafts, pull-tabs, games & more.  Fun for all.

HOLY NAME’S FALL FEST - 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 15, 37th and 12th Avenue South.  Enjoy our homemade brunch or enter a $2.00 raffle chance to win great prizes.  Rides, games, prizes and much more.  Brunch served from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Adults $7; Seniors $6; 12 and under $5.
