Text Box: MESSAGE FROM
FATHER JENSON

The Lord Jesus in our Gospel this weekend speaks of committed love. He stresses the importance of the marriage bond as indissoluble in God’s eyes and children as the fruits of such committed love as meriting God’s every blessing. As we examine our commitments to love in life, these are topped in importance by our need to be committed in how we love God, for he alone can ensure that we live out our other love bonds wholeheartedly. May Our Lady bestow upon our married couples the blessing of her prayers for them each day, to enable them to overcome all struggles and to be able to love ever more deeply and lastingly, and upon our children as well.

October is the month of the rosary. The family that prays together stays together. Let us all renew, or begin for the first time, to use our Lady’s beads each day as a ladder to paradise and a means to live our loving well. Our school children will be singing at the Cathedral on the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, Oct. 7th for the rosary procession for Catholic schools. What an honor for our school!

Father Glen Jenson, Pastor
