EQUAL TREATMENT FOR POLES - Poles are currently required to obtain a visa for any travel to the United States. Citizens of most other European countries (including Germany, France and Portugal) can visit our country without a visa. Local Polish American leaders are sponsoring a petition in support of treating Polish people the same way as other Europeans. Those who are interested in signing this non-partisan petition can do so after Mass next week.
